Well the Easter weekend is over with and l can report that there were no outdoor easter egg hunts on account of the snow.
Prior to Good Friday all of our snow had melted. Then we woke up to this on Friday morning. This picture was taken Saturday morning and there is a prediction of more snow on the way Tuesday. Fortunately they are predicting the temperature to be in the double digits by Thursday.
Yes, we have relatives that wish they made the trip to Calgary. Although the weather was not fantastic, still pretty cool, we didn't get any snow that stayed.
Not a nice thing to find Easter eggs in such cold conditions!! I hope your snow goes quickly, our temps have just been into double digits this past week and the sun is getting warmer.
This is so crazy. snow on Easter. we had rain for the Easter Weekend.it won't last long, Brian. a bit of sunshine and it'll melt away...at least I hope.
Oh, I feel so bad for you! We finally have our warm spring weather in place and there is no chance of snow until next winter! Maybe you folks can have summer egg hunt instead!
