I was intrigued as l was driving close to downtown by all the different shapes and sizes of the buildings downtown.
I pulled into a parking lot so l capture this shot
They seem to get taller as you get closer to the city.

What I find fascinating are the elegant low-rise buildings from the last century, or maybe even the one before, mingling with the modern 'architecture'!

I like higgledy piggledy buildings. It annoys me when planning don't permit alterations to buildings as it won't fit in with the area. I love the evolution of an area with diversity xx

Looks like a progression of buildings across the ages and by the looks of the crane there are more new buildings going up.
