Life in the Neighbourhood Humble Beginnings

The building on the top is the old Misericordia Hospital. In 1966 a newer and larger building was established. However this building has continued to be used over the years. Melody's sister-in-law was born here in 1963.
The building on the bottom is the General Hospital. Although the building has changed a hospital has been on this site for over 100 years. Today it serves as a Pallative Care Centre. Melody was born in this hospital in 1965
