Then and Now.......The Smitty

A look into Edmonton's past revealed the A. Minchau Building. The building has changed a little but it is still around. It is currently not being used but recently a move to preserve it was successful. Now it just needs a new lease on life
Rarely do you see old buildings so true to what they were many decades later. I can see why they would consider preserving it.

I love old buildings and how they have been altered over the years. I don't know how long ago the first photo was taken but at some time the frontage has been reduced in height and the upper floor(s) removed.
