Then and Now.....Post Office and the Hotel

This time there is quite the change. The above shot shows the old post office which opened in 1910. It was in operation until 1972 when it was demolished to make room for the Westin Hotel which stands on the site today

Are there any regrets? Here in Albuquerque, the old Alvarado Motel was demolished some decades ago, and it has been a painful topic for citizens ever since.
