The Cross Close Up by bkbinthecity

The Cross Close Up

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my niece from my post yesterday.
Today l have gone back to my pictures from Mission Hill in St. Albert.
On Friday's post of the Bishop's Residence you may have noticed a cross out front.
The logs that were used to construct the cross are from the original bridge that crossed the Sturgeon River. That bridge was built in 1862 one after Father Lacombe arrived in St. Albert
Lovely shot and interesting information.
