Glad you didn't try to recreate the original picture. I tried a middle of the street picture once, about 2am local. Was watching both ways, no traffic, about a minute later the world lite up with flashing red lights (LEDs weren't the thing then). Was told to get out of the middle of the street.
Great comparison! I don't like cars. They changed our environment so much. We have cleared forests for new roads and we are following these roads in search of forests. Nonsense. I prefer that old view.
Had to go back to yesterday's shot t o see if it is the same building which it is. A big difference in the atmosphere of the city since then. I am really enjoying these then and now shots of your city.
