For over a century, this picture was taken in 1912, Whyte Avenue in Old Strathcona has been a huge part of Edmonton. Today it is a very popular spot with all sorts of shops , bars and restaurants

I find these pictures so interesting and what strikes me most is how low the buildings are! Now they're all skyscrapers!
