Today marked 100 years since the Beverly Cenotaph was unveiled. November 11 1920 was the date of the first Remembrance Day Ceremony at this location.
This is the oldest Cenotaph in the Province of Alberta
Very nice, I see you have some snow in the background! We spent our first few weeks in Canada in Alberta, with Peter's aunt and uncle who lived in Calgary. It was January 1977 and quite unlike anything we had experienced before, having arrived from the UK. We then went on to live in Regina, and then Newfoundland, 7 years in total, before returning to England.

Do I see snow...?
