From Whales To Sails

The Lagoon in West Edmonton Mall has a few very interesting items. One of them is the Santa Maria or a least this replica of Christopher Columbus ship.
Normally it is open to the public or can be rented for private functions. Currently it is closed. Although I have featured it before I decided that those who are new to my project would enjoy seeing it.

I went to that Mall years ago and it used to have a yellow submarine. As a maritime historian I am very impressed with this model. Great image.
