The Dick Mather Park is located downtown. It is named after a gentleman who was a public school trustee for many years as well as a city counselor.
Located in the park is the Edmonton Public School Board Archives and Museum.
Part of the Museum is this one room school house that dates back to 1881. This was the first school in Edmonton outside of the Fort Edmonton Trading Post. I decided to take the picture through a gazebo that sits on the grounds
