I am a full time dog rescuer. I rescue dogs and puppies from high kill shelters in eastern Kentucky and place them in loving homes back east. This album covers many of the facets of rescue from walking high kill shelters, pulling and transporting for other approved rescues, coordinating rescue and other volunteer activities. My own rescue, Blackdogs Rescue, specializes in saving herding breed puppies from Great Pyrs to Aussies to Cattle Dogs but we often step in when lives are in danger for many other breeds. We operate with the help of volunteers and donations. All the dogs in this album, unless otherwise noted, were scheduled to be euthanized. I hope to give a face to rescue and the trials, tribulations of rescue as well as celebrating the lives saved.
