I've never really understood the difference, as a child I loved picking flowers, or weeds as I know them now. If they are pretty then thats still all good in my book!
All the flowers here were found wild in a wood in Cuffley, Herts, patches of them here and there. Photographed today as tomorrow am having a day off with my sweetie!
There's a few I dont know the name, but so far:
Daisy, Dandelion. Wood Anemone, Red Campion, Bluebell, Germander Speedwell, Forget-me-not, Buttercup and the Lesser Periwinkle.
Anyone know the others, it would be fab to find out, thanks!
beautiful collage, frieda. i love each and every frame. the colors are vibrant. really wonderful and don't worry...i, too, never know if they're flowers or weed
this is so beautiful. Wild flowers are some of my favorites. In the Carolinas the State has planted wildflowers along the high way so that while you are driving you can see the most beautiful flowers. I've not gone that way in a long time so I don't know if they still do this but it sure made the drive more interesting.
Celandine and wild cyclamen........What a brilliant idea! Love all things wild and wonderful. Weeds...just a plant in the wrong place in a garden. In the wild....no such thing!!
