What? No squirrel? Lol. My other half is popping home at lunchtimes and has just texted me to say its warm and sunny in Leeds and the squirrel is full of beans, yay!
Here is a little ol' blackbird, beak stuffed with worms and a fly.. nice! I know there are loads of blackbirds, but I like them, especially their call. Cute as!
Photographing this male blackbird was hard, it hopped twice, stopped. I'd just about get him in focus, and he would hop again. This went on for about a minute and only just made one frame before he flew off with his spoils!
They are so busy at the moment, you're lucky to get one in focus! I have a female blackbird who come really close but as soon as the camera comes out, slowly, slowly........... she's gone!
What a sensational picture! Imagine! catching him or her with a mouthfull of snacks! Do you suppose it's a she and she's off to feed babies in a nest? How cool would that be! Thanks for hanging in there and bringing us such an excellent picture!
Great shot. Birds are hard to get good shots of. Anything that is alive and moves is hard LOL.
