Meet Miss E... an 8 year old that actually scared some adults by her impersonation of Gollum at yesterdays BBQ!
Not much time to photo anything today so using a filler pic. I have some lovely pictures of kids from yesterday, but never sure if should post them online, esp as they arent my kids! So hopefully this isnt recognisable.
Miss E is a pretty little thing, looks like butter wouldnt melt in her mouth, but she's such a cheeky (and cute) troublemaker!! Spent the day pinching path pearls from the bathroom and squeezing the oil out of them everywhere, snooping over the house when everyone was outside, pretending to be a vampire by biting necks..and climbing our tree's. Still, kids are kids, and the high energy yesterday might also have something to do with me giving them a huge bag of mini choc bars without supervision... sugar rush! Ooops. Hope her Mum didnt have too much trouble getting her to sleep *grins*
Nice shot, Freida. Your description reminds me of something I heard recently about teachers saying that they want creative kids and original thinkers in their classes, but what they really want are obedient kids who don't go outside the lines. Creative and original thinking kids are frequently "messy"...causing mischief of some sort. I feel that tension - I want my kids to be upright and obedient, but to also be creative and expressive.
Cheeky monkey springs to mind! Bet you let out a huge sigh of relief when everyone went home!!! Great shot, very clever. Thanks for contributing to my mystery object...I agree with your Wallace and Grommit idea, I did make it look like a rocket type thing! Answers on the page..:-)
Me? Camping? I think not!!!! :-) No, they were bought by the boss' son for his greenhouse and for his fishing nights. (shivering at the thought of camping.....)
P.S. I forgot to mention that I have a little friend who does the most amazing Gollum impersonalization - it's my favorite thing litening to her whispering "My precious...!" I am sure Miss E does a great job, too! ;-)
