My partner and I grew tons of flowers from seed this year, and one of the better displays were the Calendula's. Seems these hoverflies kinda like em too :-)
Who'd have thought we were so green fingered before? My other half hates gardening, and I've never really done it much before. If only Leeds had the bloomin weather to enjoy it!!!!
This is an absolutely gorgeous shot! :) And those bees are so brightly coloured! Our bees are like, not yellow at all; almost a light brown colour. xD I have bee envy!
As you say Frieda, great minds! Tho I have to say the clarity and colours in yours is much better! We have lovely sunshine and blue sky today, just right for hoverflies. I reckon yours must be waterproof ones!! :-)
I'm only just getting around to responding to comments from my project's final photo. Still taking photos of course, but not necessarily every day. Some money-making possibilities are on the horizon w/ my equine photography which is exciting :)
