I wish I could get a decent shot of the many goldfinches we have in the garden now, this is the best so far. They move so so fast and tomorrow I must clean the window outside - sure that would help!
They started visiting a few months ago and now we have loads of them, and I think they are so pretty with their splashes of red and yellow - apprently they were a caged bird originally and a few escaped. Bred very well in the wild!
If you google big garden birdwatch and follow the links you can put in what visited your garden yesterday. If you can remember that far back??? heheh Great shot of this goldfinch, they love niger seeds but they are on the pricey side.
