Does my bum look big in this?

One space filled - just another to do for the 4th. Really windy today, the squirrel was hanging onto the tree peeking at me though the upstairs window.

I'd just read in the news that apparently 1 in 10 adults is now obese around the world and that British females are the biggest in Europe. I am always hating this kind of report.. last year I looked at one of those medical charts in hospital and it said that I was obese, at size 14 (USA 12) and I am 5'10". What a load of poppycock, made me feel awful!
I may just pick up a donut when I go to tesco's today, you know, to cheer myself up ;-)
Too funny! Yes, your butt does look big!

Yeah do it! Get one of those that's covered in chocolate! That said I'm considering @sleepdozer57 's de-tox. Although he did say it included no caffeine! Nice squirrel shot. More Tubby than Tufty!

I loathe those charts! I used to be 100 lbs heavier and was classified as super-morbid obese. I've graduated to just "obese" in my (US) size 14 jeans! Hmmm...gives me an idea for a picture. I love my curves now and I'm just betting you're gorgeous...wish I was 5'10"!

@rich57 blimey, good luck!! I did a diet trying to find out what was wrong with my guts, no caffine, wheat, diary or sugar for 3 months. Being a veggie it was real hard, but did feel good for a bit (before the lack of nutrition and vits kicked in and felt worse!)

@blightygal I'm only considering it thus far! I like to pretend I'll get fit and healthy one day...

@msk1p2 No way are you obese!! Thats madness. Glad you love your curves, me too! And I think most men like a few ;-)

This guy likes his nuts (edible variety) and I hope you enjoy yours. Love that word 'poppycock', so charming and old fashioned but perfect and better than .....!

Great shot of this wide in the girth squirrel - amazing sharpness on h is head.

Total awesome cuteness! Diets - pah! Rubbish things. I'm watching what I eat though with the high BP reading I had recently - it's all about eating heathily not giving up everything you like totally ... that' s what I think ... and 14 at 5ft 10 - not my definition of obese by any stretch of the imag ...

LOL! Too funny! Let's not even get started on us Americans and obesity. It shocks and amazes me how many obese people there are here, but we don't do enough to educate and engage kids in healthy habits at an early age. We're getting better, but it's a slow process.

Another adorable squirrel - fat butt and all! Love the reflection in his eyes.
February 4th, 2011
How adorable!! And no, of course it doesn't make your bum look big LOL.

Yes, I think the world is weight obsessed! I don't ever step on a scale except at my doctor's office. I thought size 14 was the average size?

5'10'' wow....I'll need to wear me heels when we go out! LOL and yes... your bum does look big, that'll be the nuts doing that!!
Another great squirrelly photo from the MSL. :-)

Oh, I love this! How cute is he?? Great close-up.
February 4th, 2011
He's not fat, he's fluffy!
February 4th, 2011
What an amazing close-up. It's like he's a few inches away. From this perspective, little squirel, yes - you have big bum.
About that chart -- that can't be right. Siz. 12 (American) and 5'10" sounds healthy.

LOL, you go for it! It used to be that a "standard" model size was a size 10 in the 1950's, now it's gone down to a size 0. I'm waiting for the negative sizes to creep into women's fashion. Ridiculous. They wonder why everyone has eating disorders.
I love the close-up of this squirrel.
February 4th, 2011
He sure isn't burying many of his nuts! Nothing like a chubby squirrel shot to cheer me right up, love this! I hate all those reports too, I think I'll buy myself a cake in solidarity :)
February 4th, 2011
WOW! How did you get that close up? It is fantastic!
February 4th, 2011
Very nice perspective, way to go

@blightygal ! funny! my de-tox has had the diet effect, but it wasn't the reason for it. I know what you mean about cutting out all the good stuff (i no eat meat), but its more about re-training yourself - for me its not buying 'multi bag van crisps" and slightly smaller portions! but you need to enjoy it rather than it be a hassle..should drink more water cos i have a lot of beer.

No not fat, just the angle of the body in this photo! Funny shot.
February 4th, 2011
Beautiful capture. But he looks obese, or is it tight right size for him?
February 4th, 2011
reports are made by idiots with to much tme on ther hands..they wonder why eating probs on increase..n md 80s i worked in chelsea girl ...now river sland...we stocked sizes 10 to 16..the average size was 12 14 anyone size 10 was counted as skinney..i was 12..now 14 and there was only one girl working there a size 10...now were told size 10 is fat lol .....its like i went in sport shop yesturday..looking for ladies...well ladies and children were same size...something wrong there when women have hips boobs etc....... cute squierrel by the way
February 4th, 2011
@shenay Mad isnt it? 10 fat.. grrrrr.... as Clarrissa ( @clarissajohal ) said, we'll be down to negative figures next. Eeek!
February 4th, 2011
@blightygal i know and the thing was when the sales came there was only sze 10s left. cos no one was skin and bone...i dont care about these silly things and i dont read celeb mags...im a makeup artist and v done makeup on some slinny hairy faces moustached spotty ugly women and made them look good....id rather be me than the skinney bearded lady lol
February 4th, 2011
@shenay Lol, absolutely! And you know what? Confidence is by far the most attractive thing anyway in my book ;-) not some skinny minny who is obsessed! Cool job you have too!
February 4th, 2011
lol!! I love this!
February 4th, 2011
What a cutie!
February 5th, 2011
I'm with Constance ..definately an angle thing-lol ;) buying clothes is not fun in most places in Asia. I am an NZ10 but even a glance in a shop door in Singapore is enough to solicit "Ooo sorry ma'am nothing fit". Not too great for the self esteem.
February 7th, 2011
This squirrel's going to have to lay off the macadamia nuts.
February 9th, 2011
ahahah this is amazing!! so cute and plump :)
