Daily tummy settling medication, crushed and sprinkled over chicken seems to have improved our Lucy's appetite and therefore her mood & energy. Apparently kidney failure can give excess urea in the blood which in turn can make her feel sick and give her an upset tummy. So the cat version of omeprazole is given. She is impossible to pill, so it has to be hidden in food!
She also needs frequent blood pressure tests but as she's petrified of the vet, then after petrified of us in case we take her back, am buying our own machine so we can do it at home....... If she lets us, poor love!
