@bobfoto no it's not the second best at all, these photos are in their worthy positions.

These are all amazing shots, well done everyone.

Congratulations to everyone... I am always amazed at the quality of work that people come up with for this group so I was more than amazed to see my shot up there amongst all these great photographers! I am genuinely blown away by that result. =)

so what's with the edit comment then please Ross?

I think the "edit" tag should be on every week's TT; I am sure some photos should not be here even if they do get a lot of attention. The quality and story each photo tells really should be held in a higher regard.

@Scrivna @bluefirebucket @moreyoulessme - I see you have 'edited' your edit comment. I understand how you limit how many photos by each member can appear in the TT, but your initial Edit comment suggested that you had blocked the regular TTers from appearing this week?

These photos are certainly worthy, no argument there.

@bobfoto My interpretation of Ross's original message was that someone had been caught artificially increasing their fav count... I have no evidence to back that up though.

@Scrivna Hi Ross just curious as some of folks here - with regards the original comment and the edit - and for the benefit of folks like me who joined this year - what would the kind of things that could lead to 'exclusion' of a picture. My interpretation was similar to Alexis - but am sure there are other possible reasons too. But please ignore if you think a further response is not warranted.

Guys let me end this mystery. Ross, being vigilant, noticed some suspicious activity on my account and brought it to my attention. Apparently a few well-intended relatives got a little fav happy on my pic. Although I had more than enough favs to easily qualify to be in the T20 anyway, still Ross felt it was tainted and best to exclude and I agree. I finished my 2nd Yr, am just posting and commenting on occasion and certainly don't need any more T20s or attention, though I greatly appreciate every ones enthusiasm for my pics. Ross I hope you don't mind that I posted this, but wanted people to know you do look out to maintain integrity and these things can happen. Thx.

@michaelelliott Personally my interest in knowing a litle more about this was to ensure I do not ever - uninentionally of course - violate any of the expectations on this awesome community.

You are a inspiration to many of us as a photographer par excellence ..am a fan more than a folower ... but this gesture deserves lots of respect !!

Its people like you that make this such a great community and have helped shaped me into the photographer I am today (though I still have a lot to learn).
