We're over a quarter into the year now and it's not unusual for any 365er to have had to get a little creative with their photography subjects. For the days when we didn't brave the rain, forgot our cameras or got swept up in the chaos of daily life - we might have reached for any old object and tried our best to make the most of an uneventful day.
So this week, we want to celebrate the ordinary and the put everything 'normal' in the spotlight, with the theme: essentials.
From toothbrushes to Tupperware, lightbulbs to letterboxes and bottles to bicycles - you won't be short of things to capture! Have a good think about fun angles, lighting and effects that you can experiment with, to turn something simple into something special.
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
How to enter this week's theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-essentials.
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 10th April until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.
Please note, we have shifted our theme dates a little, posting a new theme every Monday evening (PST). Recently, we've found that life keeps getting in the way on Sunday evenings and Mondays should prove more consistent, which will be better for the 365 community.
Winner of the 'Fluid' theme
Thanks again for getting involved and voting for a winner of the 'fluid' theme. We're very pleased to announce @adi314 as the winner!
This truly majestic shot by @adi314 is one that any of us would be proud to have captured. As well as the soothing, long exposure of the flowing water, the contrast between water and scenery builds drama and intensifies an already epic waterfall!
Vote for the 'Repeat' theme winner
We loved looking at your entries for the repeat theme. We're can't help but feel proud of how many creative and talented photographers we have on 365!
It was tricky to choose just five finalists and now it's over to you! To cast your vote, just reply to this blog post with the number (in digit form) of the photo you would like to see win.
