Weekly Theme - Living

This week we want to celebrate all organisms - big and small, new and old - with the theme 'living'.

We hope this will be a fun word, with lots of opportunity to work with your favourite photography subjects and styles.

From tiny ants, to enormous elephants, we want you to take photos of things that are alive! It's a great opportunity to practice portraits, wildlife photography and even action shots of your furry friends chasing around.

While we might think of animals and people straight away, we think this is also a perfect theme for flora - after all, trees, plants and shrubs are all living and growing before eventually dying.

You might even play with a double take on the word 'living' by capturing living beings, going about 'living' their daily lives.

How to enter this week's theme

When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-living.

Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 20th November until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.

Winner of the 'Historical' theme

Thanks to everyone who took a second to vote this week. We're very excited to announce @caterina as the winner of the historical theme!

We think we speak for a number of 365ers when we say you've got us dreaming of discovering the secrets of Petra! Aside from giving us wanderlust, @caterina's photograph beautifully frames the secret ruins, with dark towering rock in the foreground and the glowing architecture peaking through. Naturally, the gap in the canyon leads our eyes to the intricate details of the buildings and we especially love how jagged edges of the natural canyon contrast with the smooth and straight manmade pillars behind.
