After a week inspired by nature's delights, many of which featured ornamental bouquets of fresh flowers, this week we want you to find inspiration in man-made decorations, with the theme 'sculpture'.
It seems human-kind's fascination for precious objects and trinkets goes way back down our ancestral lines - just visit any history museum and there's interesting stories and examples of man-made sculptures of all shapes and sizes!
Whether you go on a scavenger hunt around your local city or look amongst the belongings in your home for ornaments, treasures and perhaps, garden gnomes, we don't think you'll have to look far for inspiration.
How to enter this week's theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-sculpture.
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 15th May until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.
Winner of the 'Thirds' theme
Thanks again for casting your votes this week. We're thrilled to announce @30pics4jackiesdiamond as the winner for the 'thirds' theme!
It's fair to say Jackie's photo is one that we'd all be proud to have captured! Using depth of field and the 'rule of thirds' composition, the dandelion is in the perfect position and has been snapped at just the right moment to capture a few seeds gently whirling off into the wind! Beautiful.
Vote for the 'Blooms' theme winner
Wow! What a great week for entries. Thank you to everyone who took part in the blooms theme, we had a really tough time choosing our finalists! I also feel motivated to plant some more plants for our modest balcony garden, thanks!
To cast your vote, just reply to this blog post with the number (in digit form) of the photo you would like to see win.
