As we begin to wind down yet another year, we want to revisit some of the most popular photography projects! This week is perhaps the most simple of subjects, yet can make for a high impact shot when you get it right, with the theme 'splash'.
A great project for indoors, you simply need a bowl of water, but can make things more exciting by dropping a small piece of fruit into a glass of water. Not only making a splash but adding a beautiful burst of colour!
There are LOADS of great tutorials on YouTube, but we especially like this simple and low-tech guide:
If you prefer to get outside, make the most of any wet rainy weather and watch from raindrops sploshing on leaves, or wellies in puddles! In warmer parts of the world, this might even be the perfect time to capture activities in the pool or a nearby lake!
Have fun - we can't wait to see your entries!

Winner of the 'Living' theme
Thanks again to everyone who voted for a winner of the living theme! We're excited to announce a tie between two amazing 365ers, @casablanca and @mittens!
We love how @casablanca has captured a shot that reminds us of a movie poster for an urban action blockbuster! Maybe it's the bold exposure and high contrast, or the how the busy lives of the black-suited crowd have been captured, making us wonder what's going on in the scene!
It's no surprise the 365 community also felt a soft spot for @mittens' handsome Macaw photograph, especially with their eye gazing right down the lens! Fantastic composition, lighting and depth of field really make this shot a photograph that anyone in the 365 community would be proud of!
Vote for the 'Body Parts' theme winner
