Weekly Theme - Treats

Whether it's the cold dark nights leaving you feeling the need for a pick-me-up, or the festive season being the perfect time to indulge, this time of year has got us thinking about our favourite things - inspiring this weeks theme 'treats'.

We want you to have lots of fun with this week's theme and even use it as another great excuse to treat yourself, or your loved ones!

It's also a great time to think about, and share, what we really think of as treats! For us it's a slice of cake, a dinner date or a trip to the movies. It's also fun to think about childhood treats that make us nostalgic, like ice-creams at the beach and trips to the zoo!

We mustn't forget our furry friends as well, maybe you can get creative with pictures of your pet's favourite rewards. Whatever comes to mind, we hope you enjoy capturing something special.

How to enter this week's theme

When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-treats.

Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 18th December until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.

Winner of the 'Splash' theme

Thanks for casting all of your votes this week for a winner of the splash theme! We're thrilled to crown @pcoulson as the winner!

We love the fun use of colours that @pcoulson has captured in this fun splash shot! It had many of us guessing whether he used after effects to apply the bold red colour, but it turns out some cleverly placed yellow and red plastic sheets were the secret to this striking shot! We're also impressed with the sharp capture of the water droplet, altogether making a perfect example for splash photography.
