I should do this more often!

It was too windy to go cycling, everywhere's too flooded to go running, so naturally I had to go swimming. This was the first time in probably 2 years that I'd swum in any kind of serious way (and a year and a half since I'd swum at all!) so the fact that I still fit in the fast lane was a bit of a surprise - although perhaps it shouldn't be, considering how strong my shoulders have got in those 2 years

I always forget how much I enjoy swimming. Running and cycling are the times when I think about stuff, but swimming is more cathartic and my mind empties
Indeed you should! Agree with you about the cathartic effect.. and you can still do it with knackered knees!

Applaud your dedication to exercise. I like this, and that it still has water on the lens.
