small doorway at Kinishba Ruins (circa AD 1100s to 1300s). Ancestral home for the Hopi and Zuni Native Americans. Every time I visit native american ruins, I am always struck by how small their doorways are. Always, one has to duck to get in. But, I love their organic architecture.
Great textures

It must be a thrill to see and touch something this old. Makes me wonder who the people were (as individuals) who went in and out by this doorway when it was first built.
