pere lachaise by blueberry1222

pere lachaise

I took this photo years ago-circa 1998-ish (with film) at the pere lachaise cemetery in Paris. I remember the days when I used to walk around with two cameras....one loaded with color film and the other with b&w film and I used to have to decide which one best suited the subject. I still feel very spoiled today with my dSLR.
Stunning.

This is so beautiful.... I'm only viewing on my iPhone so image is quite small. I had to zoom in to check if the girl was real or part of the sculpture.

@deborah63 This is such an old photo that got scanned, so the quality isn't all that great.

@graemestevens To quote Victor Hugo: "To be buried at Pere-Lachaise is like having mahogany furniture."

@yaorenliu I totally know! If I had to pay for all the photos I take today, I would be living in a cardboard box.

Would love to stroll there one day, funny enough I've travelled a lot, also France, but never stayed in Paris. Only to switch trains :-)
