the journey

Hubby and I last week camped at Aravaipa Canyon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aravaipa_Canyon_Wilderness . The land is remote and requires a permit to enter as only a max of 10 people are allowed in a day.
Great idea to limmit the amount of visitors .Thanks for the link. Very interesting.

A great shot , its candid and your face gives us a sense of your surroundings . Sounds like a real treat having all that wilderness to yourselves...

Dear Krista, we have a space free at the 5+2 group on wednesdays, would you be interested? just putting a feeler out, will have to sort some things with the group before it can be definite...

have you thought about becomeing part of the self portrait group on a weekly basis Krista? we are going through a major overhaul of the group members , rebranding, and also thinking about the way we do the images, some collaborations, new themes etc . it would be great to have you if you think you could join us!

@fiveplustwo @kali66 I am so honored that you guys are considering me for your group. I've been mulling it over all day, but...I actually am a lazy portrait-ist. I maybe pull some out every 4-6 months and I can't genuinely commit to selfies on a weekly basis....I think that would stress me out. I'm doing portraits this month just because it's 110F here and my flowers have all fizzled. I'm probably going to take the entire month of July off just to take a break from photos because I have a pile of gourds cluttering a corner in my 'office' and I want to work on carving those. But, again, a heartfelt thank you.

@blueberry1222 that is a perfect answer Krista, thankyou for thinking it over and knowing what you can and cant commit to , I love your selfies personally, but never fear we can find another :)
xx
