I have been in writhing pain for the last few weeks because I tweeked my back at the gym. I've been told that I have a bulging disk at L5-S1 and the shooting pain down my leg is due to a pinched nerve. I am at my wits end and never knew how good I had it when I had nothing physically wrong with me.
OUCH, how I do understand you. A few years ago I was stranded by the same thing, only at L4-L5... I have been saved by a doctor who practiced mesotherapy (injections in the mesoderm around the vertebrae interested by the disc disease) and laser and magneto-therapy and by Pilates gym. After six months walking with a tremendous pain, I was on my feet again in two weeks and from then never been in troubles again. Hope you are going to recover soonest!
Love your photo but hate that you are in pain! About a year and a half ago I got a stabbing, knife-like pain in my neck that I couldn't get relief from, no matter what I tried. I finally visited a chiropractor (which I had sworn I would NEVER do) and got immediate relief. Still going for other out-of-sync back issues. Surely hope you will find the right answer to get permanent relief.
