@ludwigsdiana @k9photo Unfortunately, dying. The desert is not used to burning. Invasive weeds are the culprit and that's what causes the wildfires that we have been having. The desert will take hundreds of years to recover, if it even does.

heartbreaking, cacti take so long to grow, and invasive weeds will of course be the only ones taking up the terrain again.
