Here's to hoping that someday I won't have to wear all this crap just to go to work! Hopefully a new president will set a different tone in the US and get us out of this nightmare of a pandemic.
Well I don’t live in the US & still have to wear PPE & have since March. ( at least we don’t wear hats). But at least you might have someone that admits that there is such a thing as covid!
Great selfie! I'm afraid that you might have to wear this for quite some time to come, but have hope that with the new president things will improve.
Thanks for the follow. I gladly follow you back.
We are crossing our fingers all over the world - very difficult times. Huge respect for the doctors and nurses who have to deal with this on a daily basis - thank you!
Thank you and your colleagues for what you’re all doing whatever country you are working in. While we sit at home in safety you are putting your lives and mental health on the line for everyone’s wellness. Thank you.
@kali66 Yup. I tried that, too. I applied for a work visa and was denied. Here's what the email said:
Hi Krista,
Thanks for registering your interest in living and working in New Zealand.
Unfortunately, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, New Zealand’s borders are currently closed to almost all travellers. This closure will remain in place until the risk of COVID-19 is significantly reduced.
While we have temporarily suspended our regular communications, we will be in touch from time to time with updates and, when the time is right, to resume our welcome to people with the skills needed to support New Zealand’s continued growth and prosperity.
Until then, stay safe and kia kaha (stay strong). Take care of yourself and your whanau (family), we will be in touch soon.

I was bummed. I was ready to move to NZ and live next door to you!! hahahaha
@kali66 I commend your country's ability to work together and handle the pandemic in such an admirable way. NZ is an inspiration to the world and many of us wish we could move there.
Hopefully a new president will help establish behavioral changes that will — reluctantly or otherwise — lead to a faster, and less costly, return to a “pre-this” normal. Thanks for doing what you do!
Thanks for the follow. I gladly follow you back.
