What a great morning...the sun is shining, the Bald Eagles are soaring. Just an all around uplifting morning so far! :) First spotted this guy sitting in the field on my way home from school. I pulled over, got out and he immediately flew into a stand of trees down the road so I followed him, pulled over to the shoulder and got out again. He instantly took flight before I could get a shot of him sitting on the branch. Not real clear but it'll have to do!
@ksipichaolcom Thank you Kim for the kind words....I live in Iowa. I've never seen so many Bald Eagles as I have this year...it's probably because of 365 and I'm just more aware of my surroundings and photo ops since starting this project!! :)
I love this one. The shape of his flight, the soft focus and bright colors. Very nice. Sorry I have been quiet. I have been so busy but now should be back. I like how we share our thoughts about the photos we take and don't want to lose touch.
Majestic shot! More & more eagles have been noticed around here lately. I've seen a few roosting in a tree, but I thought it was just a bunch of leaves that hadn't fallen.
@wac Thanks Wendy, I always look forward to viewing your daily posts and reading your comments, I think you were one of the first people I found when I joined here!! :) I totally understand...sometimes there honestly don't seem to be enough hours in the day to get it all done!
