Another beautiful morning...this is 2 or 3 in a row where the day starts out in the 20's with a thick layer of frost, blues skies and plenty of wispy clouds but this morning we also had some dense fog in places too. It all burned off quickly though as temps rose quickly and are supposed to reach 60 today!! This was taken on the way back from school this morning with a wide angle lens (10-24mm). I wish I could capture the landscape as it looked this morning....I can never do the mother nature's creations justice!
For some reason my landscape shots always look kind of "condensed" here so probably best viewed with the magnifying glass.
Thank you all for your kind comments....the only thing more motivational than reading your comments is viewing YOUR pictures so thanks for the inspiration! :)
Fav'd I love your landscapes so much, they're so dreamy and pure, just beautiful once again and I do know what you mean with not being able to capture it as it really is
simply utterly beautiful, Paula. I wish I had different words at my disposal to comment on your photos. I get stuck at beautiful, fantastic, peaceful, lovely. . .cuz they just ARE!!
Actually, you do as much or more justice to nature than most. This is a fantastic shot, The clarity of focus picks out the frosted grass way out in the distance. Beautiful
That's an other worldly light Paula. I'm all chilled out on the beautiful colours. You DO do great justice to nature - you make me see things I wouldn't notice. Love the frostry grass and mist in the distance. Looks even more fantastic with the magnifier - fav. Really like your frames, but just wonder if this one needed all the 'canvas' - more than likely it looks better with the frame.
Another gorgeous Iowa landscape. It certainly pays to be out on the road early in the morning, doesn't it? When I use the magnifier I don't see the whole photo and I can't scroll down. Does that happen to you or is it my computer?
Gorgeous shot! Such wonderful light and composition. I must admit i find the inner frame a little distracting, but other than that this is just wonderful :)
@miranda Thanks so much Miranda for the nice comments. I messed with that stupid frame a million different ways and finally said the heck with it and posted it. I am guilty of never knowing when to leave well enough alone! :)
@craigdtull Thanks Craig for the nice comment,I appreciate it...like I told Miranda, I have a really bad habit of never knowing when to leave well enough alone!!! :)
@miranda Oh I know Miranda....it's just funny because my husband always tells me I never know when to stop, no matter what I'm doing I go overboard with it!. No offense taken at all! :)
This is really wonderful, Paula! I love the way the little creek cuts across at an angle. The fog with the morning sunlight gives it an enchanted look. Really great job!
Gorgeous, Paula! (Either I don't get up early enough (I don't) or we haven't had the frost in the CR area that you're getting up there. Makes for gorgeous photos!)
I love the framing.
