I just had to stop and grab a picture of this flag...I drive this road almost daily but this morning is the first time I can remember ever seeing it. I thought it looked particularly nice set against the 2 parallel jet trails, crazy clouds and crepuscular rays When I first saw it I had the sudden urge to belt out "God Bless America"....but I didn't!! :) It's a little busy but what the heck, it's my picture of the day! :)
do you have an angel following you? you must to find all of these brilliant shots...a fav for me. you have inspired me to get a new lens so i can attempt some of this type of photography
I love the long view of the fields beyond. And you had a day of lovely skies. Nice photo Paula. Thx so much for a fav. I went to a photo class tonight. It was the basics which I need and I learned some things about f stops and dof and how they work differently with diffeent lenses. Loads of fun.

Hey, don't say never to a class. I am just going to two three hour workshops at a camera store and it is fun/cheap/no stress. The guy tutors so I am going to ask my photography friends if they would like him to join us for an outing and give us tips. After I find out how much it costs!
@wac Thanks Wendy! I know, never say never, but I'm just too technically challenged to get too excited about showing my ignorance in front of a bunch of people!! My daughter wanted me to take a photography class offered at the community college with her so maybe one of these days I'll get brave and just do it!
I didn't know there was such a thing as a photography tutor...I'm sure it's not cheap but probably well worth the expense for one outing, especially if you could split the cost with a few other people. I'll have to check around here and see if there are any available!
