Another cold and cloudy day...I did make an attempt to take some pictures ouside but the wind was making it extremely difficult. I tried to get a couple shots of this Hibiscus out on the deck but it was blowing the petals even when sheltered so I took it indoors and said the heck with it. Didn't have a chance to take any other pictures so this will have to be my picture of the day, blur and all! :)
@barbsmith Thanks Barb! All we got was a light dusting on Saturday morning...gone by noon though! We've had crappy weather for days though....insanely windy since last Thursday! I hope your snow is short-lived too!! :)
Hi there,
Did you see the discussion I posted on Slow Photography? It made me think and was why I tried to remember to take it slow and easy. What I find so frustrating is my busy life and my struggle to remember the technology in the camera. Both of those things are related and I get down on myself sometimes because I love taking photos and want to improve. So, I am going to slow down and see what happens. I al also taking another class - this one on nature and landscape photo. I thought of you - I know you would enjoy it.
I'm sorry to hear about your weather. And yes, macro shots are very hard to take when it's windy. But you captured this beautifully, and the colors don't look cold at all!
