You know you've run out of ideas for your project when you're laying on the ground in the cold, wet grass at 6:30 am taking pictures. What can I say, I looked out the window, the sun was shining and there was some light frost on the ground SO I just had to run out and try to grab a shot or 2 before it was gone. As you can see, the frost on the grass in the sun was already melting. I'm sure nobody that drove by thought it was in the least bit strange....doesn't everyone start their day off like this? :)
Well worth the effort! This is fabulous, awesome bokeh! My neighbors all know I'm a lunatic . . . they love to see me laying on the ground, dangling from a tree branch or just wandering our street aimlessly with my camera! LOL!
Wonderful! I love the glow and the bokeh! think it's completely normal, I've done that too (although not that early in the morning). It's soooooo magical!
the lighting in this just makes me sigh in a really good way....so warm and soft and lovely. hope you are well Paula, i'm sooooo far behind in looking and commenting. thanks for you incredibly kind comments over the past few weeks....means a lot. ;-)
Besides my own, this is the 2nd "dew/frost on the grass" picture I have seen! I like how three of us (that I know of) have taken this similar picture, yet they've all turned out differently. I love the pics you have posted lately, hence why I decided to start following you! :)
Love it! Perfect capture of that little water drop on the center blade of grass. This is so beautiful in it's simplicity. You've captured beauty in it's most humble and basic form.
A fav!
