No need to comment on this picture, it's just kind of an experiment on an otherwiise throw-away picture. Went out to the nature trail yesterday for the first time in probably a month and as soon as I hit the trail I noticed way off in the distance a big black blob high up in one of the trees. My eyes aren't all that good so I looked through the viewfinder and zoomed in as far as I could and still couldn't tell if it was actually a bird, a nest or a part of the branch. I started walking fast and then ran and took a picture when I got up a little closer....as soon as I snapped off one picture it flew off and because of it's size I was pretty sure it was either an eagle or maybe a hawk but it was still to far off for me to actually make out what it was. I didn't realize until I uploaded the pictures and took a closer look that I realized I had actually captured this guy hiding among the branches.
I'm thinking the yellow feet spell your eagle friend! It's kind of fun sometimes, I think, to be surprised what you have captured once you upload the photos. This one is definitely saying pee-a-boo!
