Moon at Sunrise

Wow!! Thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments and faves! So glad you enjoyed your G&Ts :-D Can't believe had two pictures in one week on PP...what's going on?! You are all marvellously wonderful people!

Had a fab night out with work and thoroughly enjoyed the real G&T and rather a lot of rose wine with the meal. Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Another gorgeous shot! We've had some huge moons at sunrise but you have to be in the right place for a photo - this is great!

@judithg Thank you Judith! came home from my night out and there was another amazingly huge orange moon...but I had forgotten my camera bag at work...and probably had had a tiny bit too much to drink to steady a large zoom lens! I was lucky it was just above the neighbour's houses int he morning

@fueast Thanks Alison! I did play around wiith B&W. Moon and houses look great but the soft colours just translated into a boring grey sky without any contrast

I really like those Brit chimney shots!

Every time I see one I can't stop thinking of Mary Poppins and the chimney sweeps all singing ' Round the chimney!, Round the chimney, step in time! Never need a reason, Never need a rhyme, Round the chimney, step in time!'

Great capture!
