I tried to buy a pair of Berber style shoes to use as slippers, but despite this being only a small selection of the shoes available at the tannery in Fez, none would fit me as my instep was too high. Although as they made a red leather coat overnight for one of the ladies on the tour, I'm sure if I asked they could have managed a pair of shoes.
