Starting a whole new series of water drop collisions. I've done water crowns before, but have never been able to get water drop collisions. The shots in the next few days took over 2000 photos to get. Timing and patience was everything, I just never knew when I would get the shot or not.
Starting off the series is probably my favourite of the whole bunch. This was a water drop that had bounced back up and collided with one coming down during mid air. No photoshop editing in this at all! Pretty much straight out of the camera, except for some increase in vibrance.
Ok Bobby... How? lol I have to fave this :) You have captured this perfectly and I for one really understand how difficult a shot like that is to capture. How the heck did you get the drops to collide? I know some people use Automatice droppers that are timed in order o enable the drops to collide, and then use laser triggers on flashes etc to achieve the same, is this how you captured it? I want to know the tiny details :) Massive well done from me, I am impressed :) x
This is amazing. I fav'd it. I hope all the images from these newly learned techniques are being compiled into a folio. Yeah, accounting pays well but this must give you so much more satisfaction.
Amazing job, Jani. Gotta fav for the effort, skill and patience. Reading Shell's comment above me, I take it you're an accounant? Love that you are talented in such two very different ways. :)
Fantastic, can't wait to see the rest. I wouldn't have the patience or the time to try this, nor the set up so I enjoy it very much when someone else does it so I can look at them and say, I wish.................. Congrats on the PP
Very cool capture. I've only done a few water drop shots, this would be a fun challenge to tinker with apparatus and lighting. Congrats on PP, well earned.
Awesome, you should tag your series 'water drop collisions' and make a note inthe description of all of your posts. I think it is fun to people to search the series tag and see all of the pictures at once. A FAV!
Awesome, fav!
you are really good at it
