Sunrise in Madang. With the folds of rainforest covered mountains behind me, I awoke in the morning to see a storm out at sea just the other side of Krangket Island. I really liked the light trying to fight its way through the clods.

:) I love what everyone else loves about this... so nothing new to contribute here... just filling up some space for the magic monkey thing that does its thing and such. (If that's something you even think about...)
So dynamic, the lighting, cloud texture and reflection of the light breaking through. Fantastic exposure, I probably would have sat there mesmerized and forgot to grab the camera.
The light looks like it is trying to BURST out from the clouds. There is a big face in the clouds just left of centre...or am I the only one that can see that?
