I think if you were to colour my project, you'd say it was greenish. But I am digging the whitey kinda feel of the past few days. So I wasn't going to show this shot, but changed my mind.
Again, this was flying to Buka, and we were up around 26,000ft and the world was definitely blue out there. The Fokker F-100 is the workhorse of Airniugini and they are pretty old and can be pretty smelly inside when the air con is working poorly. Often one just needs to stare out into space and hope that the landing is not that far away...
Interesting perspective, in my days the old DC3 was the workhorse and the Fokker was the new kid. Curious about those angle markings on the wing and engine. Do you know why ??
@tonydebont - I did notice that the angle was changed in taking off and landing, and the wing was always set to one of these specific numbers, never did it float around inbetween numbers. But I don't really know who they intended to use these figures. I mean, the Captain never came back and said "Can you tell me? Does that say 15º out there or 25º?"
@bobfoto I'm a little confused, I thought I was looking at the leading edge of the wing but it would make more sence if they were the trailing edge and therefore the 'flap' settings.
With those clouds behind I feel a sense of "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" over that wing! Wonderful clean colours, if nothing else at least they washed the wings occasionally!
:D Sometimes one just needs to stare into space and not think about anything either. I like the white and blue. It reminds me of Mexico for some reason.
green chile.... or the flag I suppose. The water is so blue though and the clouds lay low to the water almost like they are going to touch... and it's tropical-ish and people wear a lot of white, or at least where I went, which was more like a resort than actual Mexico.
YOU SHOULD! I think you'd have so much fun. Go to some aztec pyramids though. And take pictures cause I keep missing that cause no one will go with me.
