The End by bobfoto

The End

Intermission Part Two

Rhino Bar

Started off with a minty Mojito and it was fresh and tasty. Decided to go Tapas for the night so went with some decent plump creamy New Zealand Oysters and then order a bottle of Riesling from Heggies of Eden Valley.

The next tapas courses were Salt n Pepper Squid and S n P Prawns. Nice, spicy and tasty.

Followed by Steak Bites and French Fries.

Once the wine was consumed, I wandered off and found a Mars Bar Cheese Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and a glass of Wirra Wirra Church Block Shiraz.

to be continued...
Mmmmm, Mars Bar Cheesecake sounds good.
No furniture?
January 17th, 2013
@btorrey - the Cheesecake was good. No furniture.
January 17th, 2013
Cool photo, now I'm hungry. Did you get your passport or have I missed something?
January 17th, 2013
furniture is over rated, cheesecake is not !!! yum
January 17th, 2013
cheesecake sounds a bit too rich for me, this reminds me of a cell...which reminds me of my degree show many moons ago ahhhhhhhh
January 17th, 2013
Sounds like you ate for an Army. Is this the new place or old?
January 17th, 2013
Mars bar cheesecake, yummo!
Did they forget to pack you up?
January 17th, 2013
Your new digs?
January 17th, 2013
You tease us with all this food then show us a room without furniture :S I think I missed the point to this one !
January 17th, 2013
S&P squid...yes please! You look lonely!
January 17th, 2013
Oh no! More food......no wonder you have to eat out if all your furniture has gone! @trude I agree, our friend does look lonely.
January 17th, 2013
Are you going somewhere that has not food?! IT sounds as if you are stocking up! ;~} This photo of you is a bit sad! I like the POV
January 17th, 2013
You do look lonely. Nowhere to sit, nowhere to sleep :(
January 17th, 2013
The International Man of Mystery :P
January 17th, 2013
very cool selfie! the title was a bit misleading calling it The End and such... :)
January 17th, 2013
The end or the beginning? Tune in tomorrow . . . Nice selfie from the man the used to say he wouldn't do one.
January 17th, 2013
Such a stark shot to find my favorite Mojito's mentioned. I hope you are not doing a selfie in incarceration.....
January 17th, 2013
comfort eating? Hope you're ok
January 17th, 2013
it does look a bit lonely and also sparse
January 17th, 2013
now I really am confused. Cathy's got it - you're in solitary. What you need now is a baseball and a mitt (realise that's not particularly Aussie but the only film reference I could think of).
January 17th, 2013
Mysterious shot! Going or coming? Ending or beginning? Happy or sad? Nicely ambivalent!
January 17th, 2013
Looks like my living room, after 3 years of being there :)
January 17th, 2013
The present looks a bit bare - hopefully the future holds much promise. If supper is anything to go by it'll be ok! (Mars bar cheesecake washed down with some Shiraz?! Nommmmmmmmmm where's the corkscrew and spoon?!)
January 17th, 2013
Bummer someone nicked your furniture.
January 17th, 2013
Glad they weren't rocky mountain oysters (though they're probably called something else on your side of the planet) :) Lonely looking shot. Ready for adventure?
January 17th, 2013
mmmm you're making me hungry.....good job it's almost teatime!;-)
January 17th, 2013
Looks a bit lonely in there!!
January 17th, 2013
You're the only one I know who describes oysters as creamy...erggh...looks like the move is going as planned.....
January 17th, 2013
@ingrid2101 - See here for Passport details. http://365project.org/bobfoto/365/2013-01-15

@debsulzberger - Omnomnomnomnom.

@houdiniem - the cheesecake was suuuuuuper sweeeeeeeet! Degree Show? What like the Goon Show?

@hollandcrew - old place packed up.

@kjarn - I kept running away from the packers.

@corymbia - old digs empty.

@tammeray - This was the final shot of my old house, and I am currently living in a Hotel that is surrounded by restaurants, so I eating my way to the airport.

@trude @Cherrill @onie @aponi - only a person with an empty mind can truly achieve loneliness. And boredom.

@grammyn - yup stocking up on food!

@asutherland1964 @loztsoul - The title is reference to my last day in my old house. All packed up and ready to go!

@lisjam1 - Oh that was a long time ago. And I think The Seven changed that?

@cdonohoue @malc - Loved that movie with Stevie McQueen doing time in solitary... The Great Escape was it?

@doodlerdeb - Doing really well thanks for asking Debra. Old home packed and empty, got me passport, just got to knock off one more day at work and ready to rock and roll.

@olivetreeann - Going and Ending.

@jase_h - I have a friend like you whom doesn't own any furniture, and he was in all sorts of sorrow when his new GF purchased him a fridge. That was a funny day.

@filsie65 - Oh it was good Shiraz too!

@johnnyfrs - and they boxed it all up. And put it in a big shipping container.

@geocacheking - are they the same as a Bondi Cigar?

@emilychadderton - hope you enjoy your dinner then?

@carolmw - lonely schmonely! I'm alright.
January 17th, 2013
@teenerweener - surprisingly enough, it is going according to plan. And yeah, these little oysters had little creamy coloured bellies and when you bit into their little juicyness, it was texturely like ice cream when you beat it into a smooth bowl of creamy goodness!
January 17th, 2013
Ummmm, I think u have been robbed perchaps? This pic looks lonely :( but I liked your story about the food! Yummo!!! Cheeeeeese cake.
January 17th, 2013
Cool picture ... Great POV!
January 17th, 2013
@bobfoto it was good thanks - fillet steak, home made spicy potato wedges, garlic green beans and tenderstem broccoli, oh and a nice bottle of 35 South Sauvignon.......:-)
January 17th, 2013
very cool mood to this photo!
January 17th, 2013
It's much more fun moving in than moving out.
January 17th, 2013
@bobfoto :D Go ma books, vinyl, camera's and skateboard's, what more does a cat need
January 17th, 2013
I've often looked at that Tapas place and wondered if I should give it a go. Sounds like I should. Not long to go now? I love a good adventure, we are headed off on our own later this year, maybe we will cross paths again. Can't wait to see where you're going.
January 17th, 2013
Great shot. Love the light outside
January 18th, 2013
what an adventure life is - i'm so enjoying sharing yours (along with my own)
January 18th, 2013
Ah, memories. A couple of months ago in Oregon - lightly pan fried oysters at Local Ocean in Newport then a big bowl of steamer clams at Fathoms in Lincoln City. You make me think.
January 18th, 2013
Wonderful shot. Looks like you are ready to move on. You ate quite a meal!
January 18th, 2013
@kdimagery - legally robbed.

@paulavdmerwe - Thanks Paula :)

@emilychadderton - oh that does sound good!

@sticksandstones - Thanks Jenny!

@webfoot - ummm, you gotta move out to move in?

@jase_h - book shelf? Turntable? Printer? Ramp?

@bella_ss - It's not a bad place for a feed. An Adventure you say? Look forward to seeing that!

@swilde - the weather has been good of late, even a drop of rain!

@stepheesue - Thanks Stephanie, I do enjoy looking at the world via this site!

@rvwalker - Steamer Clams sounds good, but I like my Oysters untouched by heat.

@daisy - deadset ready!
January 18th, 2013
@bobfoto Ramp, in my flat, I like your thinking sir
January 18th, 2013
Stunning shot, Jason. Love the colours outside the windows contrasting with the B&W inside.
January 18th, 2013
Minimalist apartment. If I need something to sit on, I'll sit on my arse! I wonder if the waiters last words to you were "an' fanally m'seur, a waffer thin mint" note the french accent in my quote please.
January 18th, 2013
Not quite...it is the product of castrating a bull, cooked up and considered a delicacy......by some. :)
January 18th, 2013
@bobfoto when I was doing my art degree I had to do a final exhibition of work, I did an installation of a cell/bedroom full of masks
January 18th, 2013
great series of selfies jd! :)
January 18th, 2013
@jase_h - some mates of mine built a half pipe in their back garden of their rental place... They even banged a few sheets of board up on the roof, so that they could drop in from a few feet higher. It was a massive pipe and took up the whole yard. Broke a few arms that pipe did.

@sangwann - the Palm tree in the right hand window was where I saw my Owl 2 years ago.
http://365project.org/bobfoto/365/2011-02-15

@seanoneill - "Fuck off, I'm full" is how I would reply to a Frenchy like that.

@geocacheking - Oh I have heard of them and yeah, definitely not the same as a Bondi Cigar.

@houdiniem - sounds cool. Sounds very houdiniem.

@agentzuckerguss - Thanks Katia. :)
January 18th, 2013
@bobfoto PMSL, so is the current Mrs O'Neill.
January 18th, 2013
@seanoneill - Just bring me a bucket....
January 18th, 2013
@bobfoto Sweet, back yard jams rock :) Until last year a few of us rented unit an industrial estate and built a bowl inside. Some of the other business's complained about the noise (garage and metal fabricator, so not really quiet themselves). The short version of a long story is; council and health & safety bods got involved, we got evicted.
January 18th, 2013
@jase_h - I mean how can a metal fabricator complain about noise.
January 18th, 2013
@bobfoto Yeah I know, it was all very small town silliness
January 18th, 2013
@jase_h - me thinks the 'fun police' were involved.
January 18th, 2013
I love this pic! Well done, Jason! :0)
January 19th, 2013
@cjwhite - Thanks Carolyn. #:0)
January 19th, 2013
Forget about the food, I'm sold on the Wirra Wirra Church Block, One of my favourite wineries - I do miss Oz!!!
January 19th, 2013
@judithdeacon - I had another glass tonight. Wirra Wirra is one of my faves!
January 19th, 2013
Such a reflective shot.
January 28th, 2013
@aj1268 *sigh*
