Magnolia stellata

Our little bush in the garden is flowering very nicely.

Felt a little under the weather with a seemingly dodgy tummy - feeling rather queasy. Lay in for a bit and finished book, then had some breakfast to test my tummy - toast and a hot cross bun as you do.

Logged in for a stressful morning of dial-in meetings and a colleague desperately trying to get a campaign page live. Logged off at 1 and finally got dressed. Tried a lunch of mozzarella and avocado, but felt a bit rough after so not all quite right - the stress I think.

Locked up the back door and windows and did my last minute packing before heading to Turkey Street and the short walk to meet Dave at his college.

The drive to Ironbridge wasn't too bad other than a sticky bit near Birmingham of course. Had to stop for the loo too but we were at Sophie's in good time for nibbles and champagne in her cosy parlour with the log burner

Gnocchi and salad and red wine for lunch but was very tired so after a bit of chat soon headed for bed up her steep stairs. Room was coolish as she's not a massive fan of central heating.

So today we got a Brexit extension - to the 12 April or 22 May depending on whether May gets her deal through. Just an extension of the finger-biting misery.
