Some really heavy rain this morning, fairly constant - giving way to ever so heavy showers this afternoon and the odd rumble of thunder. I'd planned on doing a 7-mile walk through the central London parks but decided against it.
Instead packed for a weekend away - and a day working in Sheffield tomorrow. Popped out to do some birthday present shopping, managing to miss the showers. Then back to cook up a big pepper and sausage casserole.
