Seeing more of this now. Might well be the answer to a second wave you never know.
Made a big pot of carrot, cabbage and coriander soup and did a Tesco top-up shop, And a halloumi fry-up in garden. On way to mum's stopped off Muswell Hill to see the café below the flat and let them know about the proposed window works. Of course they're not happy about the scaffolding.
Emailed the builder but much as I feared there's really no way of mitigating the scaffolding work - 2 weeks it will be needed. Popped to mum's briefly with some carrot cake picked up from Evelina's. Didn't stay long, she didn't want to go out even though it looked OK. Got back and took the jigsaw outside as was a nice afternoon. Very anxious about all the flat window stuff though.
Watched some more of Life on Mars later, what a good series that was - love the 70s-style credits with suitable music.
