While at breakfast, noticed the webs in the garden standing out clearly all pearly. Early fog had soon cleared. Interesting breakfast with F of halloumi, mushrooms and panettone.
Finally got to the excellent Young Poland exhibition at the William Morris Gallery in the afternoon - all about Poland's Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th-early 20th century. Lots of gorgeous things - paintings, stained glass, illustrations, furniture and more - over both floors.
Grabbed a mulled cider from the market outside and came home to make a massive veg tray bake out of Jamie Oliver's vegetarian book. Ate it with bulgur wheat while watching the Zoom Eurobash, featuring bands containing lots of friends - White Sawney Bird followed by the Kent Sessions with Annas P and T, Frances, Chris W as well as the Fraser sisters.
And Limpy the fox has returned! We knew she was probably out and about, survivor that she is, just not visiting us (probably not helped by bossy stinky Fernanda). We caught a glimpse of a white tipped tail on the shed roof this morning and wondered if it was her. Then when I was making the tray bake she appeared at the back door, scratching for food. We actually don't make a habit of feeding them, not good practice, but I made an exception with some buttered malt loaf and shortbread as it was so nice to see her.
