Since all this Covid nonsense started, if you don't count the ones when we went away to Halsway Manor.
Another bright beautiful day if less cold. Session was fun with a few old faces. I had planned on wearing my extra protective mask, but was tricky what with drinking beer and playing the occasional whistle. I even started Mount Hills amazingly. E turned up later for a few tunes with F and W tagging along.
Came home to a late lunch of Christmas cake and cheese. Trying to relax now and not think about the week ahead. Listening to the East Pointers. The most wonderful band from Prince Edward Island, Canada, playing their own tunes and songs - they've just been devastated by the sudden death of their banjo player Koady Chaisson at 37. Maybe because of my prevailing low mood over the last few weeks, months, seems to have affected me too, keep listening to their supremely accomplished and melodic tunes and songs.
Good to see you are getting a little bit of normality back into your life. I listened to Evergreen and loved it. What an uplifting song. Thank you for sharing the link.
