Our revels now are ended. That Tempest quote cropping up here there and everywhere. But so they are. Our lovely local London games are gone, done and dusted. How could they be gone so soon?
Shelly Wood powers her way to a silver in the women's marathon. Loved the sound of the wheelchairs on the tarmac. We spent the morning watching the men's (including David Weir) and women's race before having a bite at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen - big burgers they do (even the veggie ones).
I then left Dave and headed to a small hidden corner of Clerkenwell to catch a friend's band, the Lime Quartet do a set as part of the marathon bandstand thing going on all day yesterday.
Blimey - you must be worn out after your time off! And full of yummy food by the sounds of it. Sad it's all over but you Londoners have definitely had a wonderful summer with all the extra shenanigans as well.
